A man was designed by God to be a provider. If you are not financially capable of taking care of a woman, what are you doing with one in the first place? Before you ever think of entering a marriage bound relationship with a woman, you must make sure you are financially secure.
There is nothing wrong with dating  or planning to marry a woman who is more successful or richer than you as long as you are financially responsible in the relationship. If she is taking care of everything, either delay the marriage until you are financially ready or let her look for someone else to marry.

You are going on a guilt trip and it is insufficient to sustain a marriage. Take responsibility for your child, but don't marry a woman you don't love because you made a mistake.

God guides us by certain signals; His word, dreams, His peace. If you don't have peace concerning this relationship you are now, don't go ahead with marriage. It doesn't matter how long you've invested in this woman, how long you've known each other, what she has contributed into your life or what promises you've made to each other; if there is no peace, it is a signal to you that all is not well with the relationship.

There are certain unknown factors that only God in his Omniscience can see that may destroy your destiny in future. When you obey this signal, you protect yourself from hurt, pain and loss.
